Box Lunch is one of CASA El Dorado’s largest annual outreach and fundraising events. With the support of our community partners and volunteers, we prepare and deliver more than 3,000 pre-ordered lunches across El Dorado County. Proceeds directly fund the recruitment, training, and supervision of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) who serve abused, neglected, and at-risk youth in our community. Your support helps us recruit and train new CASA volunteers; advocate for abused, neglected, and at-risk youth; provide a caring, consistent adult voice for foster youth and expand services to children who need it most!

Businesses, schools, social clubs, and individuals are all encouraged to participate in Box Lunch!

Delivery & Pick-Up Information

  • Minimum of 5 lunches required for delivery

  • Deliveries arrive by noon

  • Ordering fewer than 5 lunches?
    Select Will-Call Pick-Up (11:00 AM – 1:00 PM) at:

    • Placerville – El Dorado Fairgrounds

    • El Dorado Hills- Bayside Church

    • South Lake Tahoe – El Dorado County Library

Donate a Lunch to Support Our Community

You can also purchase a Box Lunch to benefit a local organization. CASA will select the sandwich type and deliver directly to the location listed below. No pick-up is allowed for donated lunches.

  • Community First Responders – Supporting those who serve and protect our community.

  • Upper Room Dining Hall – Serving individuals facing food insecurity in El Dorado County for over 20 years, ensuring no one goes hungry.

  • Vista Rise Collective (South Lake Tahoe) – For over 40 years, providing critical domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse services and helping survivors build futures free from violence.

For 30 years, our community has come together through Box Lunch to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children in foster care.
